The effects of the Spanish conquest on native traditions; public, private and sacred patronage; the effects of the Bourbon reforms. Painting, sculpture, architecture, graphic and minor arts. This is a Writing Emphasis Course. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): ARH 202 or consent of instructor. ARH 423A is not prerequisite to ARH 423B.
