Description: This course focuses on the art and architecture of the empires of the early Middle Ages (Roman Christian, Carolingian, Byzantine) and of the so-called "Barbarians" (Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Goths) in the 4th to 10th centuries This is a Writing Emphasis Course. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): ARH 201 or consent of instructor. Satisfaction of the Mid-Career Writing Assessment (MCWA).
