Description: Pictorial documentation of environments, characters and scenarios inspired by the Orvieto setting. Sketchbooks and travel journals will be used, story telling and visual essay techniques, handmade books, comics, graphic novels, picture books as objects of art explored. Graduate-level requirements include a research paper on a topic agreed upon with the instructor. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. May be repeated: for credit 1 time (maximum 2 enrollments). May be convened with: ART 462O. Usually offered: Summer.
