Description: This course is an introduction to the theories of Structuralism, Post-structuralism and Post-modernism and an investigation of how these theories inform the digital arts. Graduate-level requirements include producing three 30 minute digital presentations, take one essay exam, and prepare 2 digital research papers that are 5-10 pages in length. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Typical structure: 2 hours lecture, 1 hour discussion. Identical to: F A 535A. May be convened with: ART 435A.
