Description: This course is a seminar involving concentrated discussion and readings of contemporary art concepts and issues and the concepts of others, citing parallel influences and research related ideas. It will emphasize highly concentrated student and faculty discussion. Students will examine the thought behind the development of personal imagery and its relationship to culture, art and world issues. Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E. May be repeated: for credit 2 times (maximum 3 enrollments). Usually offered: Fall, Spring.
