Description: This culmination of previous studio classes emphasizes the development of a visual voice for book, film, reportage and sequential illustration. Contemporary approaches to art and illustration as a means to finding personal methodologies in traditional and/or digital media. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Special course fee required: $25. Prerequisite(s): acceptance by portfolio, 9 units of illustration courses. Typical structure: 2 hours lecture, 2 hours studio. May be repeated: for credit 1 time (maximum 2 enrollments). May be convened with: ART 566. Usually offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
