Description: This is a studio art class designed to take students through the process of researching, creating, and producing work in the comic book genre for presentation within the comic industry. Advanced drawing students will have the opportunity to learn techniques and approaches to an art medium that has thoroughly penetrated contemporary culture. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): At least 6 units of 300-level VisCom and/or 2-D classes or consent of instructor. May be repeated: for credit 1 time (maximum 2 enrollments). May be convened with: ART 562B. Usually offered: Summer.
