Description: [Taught Spring semester in even-numbered years] The functional ecology and dynamics of biogeographically diverse savanna, shrubland and woodland ecosystems will be examined. Interactions among co-occurring life forms and growth forms will be emphasized with in the context of climate, soils and disturbance. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E.
