Description: Research studio for graduate students in architecture and landscape architecture intended to provide a heuristic framework of investigation with the aim of incorporating the major areas of graduate concentration in the Master? Program of Architecture, included but not limited to, design and energy conservation, urban design and infrastructure, materials and technologies, and preservation studies. Design research inquiry centered on the Sonoran Desert region as the setting for architectural interventions. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Usually offered: Fall.
