(3 units) Description: Women? lives come to us in many forms: oral history, diaries, autobiography, biography, letters, ?estimonios, photos. This course will explore the wide variety of women? life-writing, addressing text and context. Students will read primary texts and analytical scholarship. Research paper or project required. Graduate-level requirements include a 15-page paper plus additional background reading on each life story discussed in class.Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E.
