Description: The exchange of scholarly information on various topics related to the linguistic situation in the Arab World in particular and the Middle East in general. Scope of work shall consist of critical evaluation- both oral and written- of scholarly books and articles. Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E. Available to qualified students for Pass/Fail Option. Prerequisite(s): Consent of instructor.
