Description: Intermediate Levantine Arabic II is the fourth course in the Levantine Arabic sequence begun in "Conversational Levantine Arabic". The course focuses on spoken rather than Standard written Arabic, and will therefore target primarily the oral/aural skills, speaking and listening. Graduate-level requirements include a video project in addition to other course requirements. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): 584A or consent of instructor. Native speakers of another Arabic dialect must have consent of instructor. May be convened with: ARB 484B. Usually offered: Spring.
