Description: The Caribbean along with other Spanish and Portuguese territories have been heavily influenced by the English, Dutch and French. This course looks at the settlement of the Caribbean with reference to those processes which frame contemporary society and public issues. Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E. May be repeated: for credit 2 times (maximum 3 enrollments).
