Description: The basic scientific principles and skills of construction, operation, and maintenance in turf, landscape and urban agricultural equipment. Provides student with laboratory experiences in machinery, sprinkler and drip irrigation installation, operation and maintenance, chemical application systems, and hardscaping. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Special course fee required: $50. Typical structure: 1 hour lecture, 6 hours laboratory. Usually offered: Spring.
