Description: The seminar will focus on employment in agricultural and biosystems engineering and engineering professionalism. Topics will include how to find a job (finding opportunities, writing resumes, interviewing), continuing education (professional societies, schools, self-learning) and engineering ethics. Presentations and discussion will provide communication opportunities. Students will be required to REGISTER for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE). Grading: Regular or alternative grades can be awarded for this course: A B C D E or S P C D E. Prerequisite(s): Concurrent registration, ABE 498A. Credit for: .5 unit engineering science, .5 unit engineering design. Usually offered: Fall.
