3 hours. Prerequisites: MC 101, APR 260, JN 150, APR 221, APR 300, JN 311, math core (MATH 110 or higher), and EC 110 with grades of "C-" or above; and junior standing. Examination of relationships between advertising strategy and the creative process, concentrating on the generation of ideas and the execution of advertising ideas for various media. Writing proficiency is required and must be demonstrated in order to pass this W-designated course.
