An analysis of current problems, and development in sociological study with emphasis on acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of social information. Includes directed research relating to educational, occupational, and community problems of sociological significance. Designed to encourage the student to apply sociological principles and concepts to practical social problems with coordination and sharing of research problems and results as they develop. Prerequisite: 12 hours in social sciences including at least six hours of sociology.
