This course will serve as the capstone course for students pursuing licensure in Middle School Mathematics and Science. Connections between other mathematics courses in the program will be broadened and explored using appropriate materials through laboratory experiences. The use of technology, including the Internet as an instructional source, as is appropriate for the middle grades will be incorporated to enhance problem solving, communication and reasoning skills. Prerequisite: MTH 3553 or consent of the instructor.
