A course designed to meet the needs of students preparing for elementary and/or middle school licensure. Topics include: linear and non-linear equations, linear inequalities; functions (polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic), graphing of functions; inverse functions; sequences and series. Concepts will be developed using appropriate manipulatives and technology. A graphing calculator is required. Prerequisite: MTH 1053 with a grade of "C" or better.
