A course designed for those students with ACT scores in English in a range mandated by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. The course emphasizes a basic review of grammar and usage. It provides individualized instruction and laboratory writing experience, in order to better prepare students for required writings in ENG 1463. (ENG 0023 is a nondegree-credit course. If required, course must be completed with a "C" or better before taking ENG 1463.)
