This course is designed to introduce students to an overview of the theories and foundations of therapeutic adventure. Specifically this course will examine: adventure and wilderness therapy models, the therapeutic process, programming applications, processing experiences, research and the future of therapeutic adventure. Prerequisites: REC 2025 Introduction to Therapeutic Recreation Services, REC 2033 Foundations of Adventure Recreation. 3 credits.
