A foundation level course taken by all majors seeking the BFA degree or a BSE degree in art. Students learn the use of digital tools to accomplish tasks such as scanning images, storing files, working on a network, creating vector graphic and bitmap graphic images, and effective use of the internet for e-mail, research, etc. This course is designed for students with all levels of computer experience. Design projects are used to teach the concepts and tools available to artists through the use of the computer.
