This course focuses on the topics of arithmetic and algebra content of Pre-K-8 mathematics and appropriate teaching methods. Instruction will be guided by the NCTM Principles and Standards for School Mathematic and the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Mathematics. Emphasis in on the problem solving, critical thinking and communication. This course does NOT satisfy the college General Education requirement in math. (Prereq: Math 101 with a grade of "C" or above.) (F/S and SS of even years)
