To be competitive in a global economy, organizations need a process for continuous improvement and effective planning. This course gives students an understanding of process for continuous improvement and as an opportunity to apply human and organization knowledge to real-life business improvement problems. Topics include: strategies for continuous improvement; leadership and organization for continuous improvement; application of statistical methods; small group involvement and problem-solving; and customer and supplier involvement.
