Biomechanics uses mechanical analyses to investigate biological problems by combining knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physics. Topics include mechanical and structural properties of living tissue, loads applied to joints, common sports injuries and treatments, linear and angular kinematics and kinetics, equilibrium, and movement in fluid mediums.
