Prerequisites: RELP 485 and RELP 486. This course is designed to train leaders and perspective leaders with a survey of advanced strategies and professional skills to successfully lead nonprofit faith based organizations in the 21st Century. This training will include learning modules in: ethics, principles, and issues in nonprofit leadership; social action from relief to public policy; growing urban churches; social entrepreneurship and marketing strategies; non-profit accounting and budgeting; the environment of the nonprofit sector (government, networking, and partnership); program development and evaluation; organizational change and behavior; negotiation and conflict resolution; and risk management and legal issues.
