Prerequisite: FNCE 486 or FNCE 486P. This course provides an opportunity to analyze and discuss cases and readings in commercial bank management. The loan function is emphasized, also the management of liquidity reserves, investments for income, and source of funds. Bank objectives, functions, policies, organization, structure, services, and regulation are considered. Business Administration majors who choose the project option complete additional project work across the course in any one track that is equivalent to the work required in the Guided Independent Research Project. (Available only in the SGPS)
