Why people buy is a matter of critical interest to marketing management. This interdisciplinary course investigates theories of buyer behavior with the consumer as the focus of the marketing system. Marketing activities such as pricing, product development, branding, promotion, and relations among channel members are analyzed and developed to reflect a commitment for providing consumer satisfaction.
