three semester rotation This is a continuation of MUS 362, and is a study of the history of Western music during the Baroque and Classical periods of music (1600-1825 AD). Included will be a study of the leading musical composers, their contribution to musical repertoire, genres, form, and the overall development of music during the 17th and 18th centuries. Prerequisites: MUS 362, MUS 203 (or concurrent enrollment).
