Three hours The aim of this course is to present a survey of materials and methods in teaching music in the elementary grades for music education. The different phases of public school music such as singing, listening, rhythms, and creating music are studied. Music education majors and elementary education majors who are pursuing a music minor should take this course as substitute for MUS 347. Fall, even-numbered years.
