In-depth study of developmental processes with emphasis on the biological and environmental aspects of physical, cognitive, language, moral, social, emotional, and personality development. Investigates the current research on the brain and individual development with implications for educational practice. Includes strategies for documenting individual children's development and learning. Required: si hours of field eperience. Prerequisite: ECE 130
