Prerequisites: BIO 324 and BIO 325; BIO 425 and BIO 435 recommended. Comparative morphology, physiology and pathogenicity of medically important fungi. Laboratory methods for identification emphasize interpretation and evaluation of results including the recognition of contaminating or opportunistic organisms. Two hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
