3 credit hours This course is divided into two parts: a study of the social and physical geography of the seven regions of Kentucky and of the development of each region and its unique culture; and the history of the state of Kentucky from pre-Revolutionary War explorations to the to present. Special emphasis is placed on the skills and knowledge for elementary teachers of Kentucky history. Prerequisite: History 201 or 202.
