3 credit hours Designed for English majors who want to write professionally and for non-English majors who must write in their careers, Eng 400 focuses on forms of writing which occur in science, business, and industry. The course considers various approaches to technical writing and includes workshops on technical description, document design, graphics/visuals, oral communication, and collaboration. In addition, Eng 400 encourages students to gear assignments/projects to their majors, careers, and/or areas of interest. Prerequisite: Eng 300 or instructor's consent. (Alt yrs.)
