(non-graduation credit) The Math for Health Sciences course is designed to provide mastery of the fundamental mathematical concepts related to nursing, which are also germane to the field of veterinary technology. Students will begin with a review of basic mathematical and selected algebraic concepts and progress to application of those skills in nursing and veterinary mathematics. The importance of correct dosage calculations and the ramification of errors will be emphasized. Material will be presented in a variety of formats similar to those encountered in the practice of nursing and veterinary medicine.
