Tuttle Throughout the history of the church there have been movements of the Spirit that have sought to maintain balance between the church's organizational structure and the church' s spirituality. The history and theology of the church in renewal must necessarily relate to those movements. After a thorough description of the powerful precedent set in the apostolic churches, this course will trace an unbroken line of renewal movements down to the present day. Prerequisite: IS501
