The Neuman Systems Model provides the framework for assessing the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, and spiritual aspects of aging. The model focuses on the strengths and vulnerabilities of individual clients in relation to the stressors they encounter and guides nursing interventions. This course prepares students for certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prerequisites: NUS 301, NUS 302, and NUS 304.
