Continues the development of the generalist knowledge, values, and skills required to intervene on an advanced level. This course is taken concurrently with the second semester of the senior year field placement. Integrates theory and practice with a concentration on macro-level practice, including environmental modification, class advocacy, advanced interventive techniques with individuals, groups and large social systems, and evaluation of practice. Open to social work majors only. Prerequisite: SWK 448.
