This comparative course will focus on two or more authors of different nationalities (e.g. Proust, Joyce and Beckett; or Dante, Pound and Eliot) or a comparison of literary movements (e.g. the Irish Renaissance and the Harlem Renaissance) or a study of transnational movements, such as romanticism or the symbolist movement.
