Fal This course will introduce students to the nursing care of individuals suffering from acute and chronic mental health disorders. Topics will include psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and issues related to family violence. Clinical experiences will emphasize the use of therapeutic communication, mental health assessment, and interpersonal relationship skills in a variety of mental health clinical settings.
