Spring This course will focus on the nursing process and introductory concepts crucial to professional nursing care, including nursing processes, interviewing, wellness, health promotion and illness prevention. Emphasis will be placed upon the theoretical basis for the science of nursing with a focus on the Neuman Model. In the clinical laboratory, students will learn and apply nursing skills with an emphasis on patient safety in a simulated setting. Lab fee.
