SPRING A study of tonic and dominant cadences, part writing, the diatonic triads, the melodic line, transposing clefs, triads in inversion, harmonic progression, nonharmonic tones, dominant seventh and supertonic seventh chords. Analysis and writing and composing skills will be developed. Skills in singing music at sight will also be taught. Fee. Prerequisite: MUS 140, its exemption exam, or consent of the instructor
