FALL This course is designed to give the students a working knowledge of the capabilities of orchestral instruments in regard to range, registers, transpositions, technical capabilities, balance considerations, articulations, idiomatic and timbre considerations. The students will develop skills in scoring and arranging music for instrumental ensembles of various sizes and levels of expertise. Prerequisite: MUS 141
