Ill Adult I (4 CR.) Fal This course will involve application of biological, psychosocial, and spiritual concepts for adult clients experiencing the stress of an acute or chronic alteration in physical health. Focus will be placed on nursing interventions for clients experiencing stressors related to fluid and electrolytes, connective tissue, immune function, carcinogenesis, respiratory function, cardiovascular function, hematological function, and the nervous system. Emphasis will be placed on the application of evidence-based clinical practice, knowledge acquisition, skill development and clinical competence. The nursing process and the Neuman Model will be utilized to provide care to clients within the health care delivery system of an acute care hospital. Clinical fee.
