Spring This course will introduce students to scientific inquiry in the discipline of nursing. Students will be provided with a basic foundation of the research process including an overview of nursing research, steps in the research process, research designs, research methodology, data collection and analysis, ethical issues related to human research, and utilization of research in nursing practice. Emphasis will be placed on developing students as effective consumers of research. Prerequisite: NUR 415
