SPRING A course for the liberal arts or general education purposes that inculcates quantity literacy and mathematics competency. Course content includes problem solving and math modeling, sets, logic, algebra, geometry survey, probability, and consumer mathematics. The course focuses on the influence of mathematics on Western culture. Analysis will include the role of religion in the development of mathematics and the influence of mathematics on the development of a Christian worldview. May substitute for MAT 130 or a Math elective.
