ARR A directed study, done in the host country, focusing on the learning of the belief system of the dominant religion(s) in the area of ministry; the place of the religious rituals in the life of the people; the place of the religious authorities in society; how the religion(s) affect(s) other areas of life and social institutions; how the religion(s) affect(s) the maintaining of the status quo; how the dominant religion considers Christianity. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading. (Also ANT 438X) Prerequisites: Completion of 90 credit hours of the Intercultural Studies major, including a minimum of 18 credit hours from the courses listed in the "ICS"section of the Intercultural Studies major, and ICS 434 Cross-Cultural Practicum Orientation
