SPRING The practical, hands-on study of effective writing which occurs in basic human communication and the various forms of mediated communication in contemporary society. From a foundation of successful writing in interpersonal and group contexts, students will then discuss and acquire writing skills relevant to the media industries: newspapers, magazines, radio, television, cinema, and internet.
