This course is concerned with the nature of the church's ministry and the individual Christian' s relationship to that ministry. Students examine the biblical purposes of the church, especially as they relate to practical expressions of ministry: evangelism, nurture, worship, fellowship, and service. Guest speakers from a variety of ministry backgrounds challenge students to become involved in vocational ministry. The class studies ways to relate effectively to postmodern American culture.
