This course is concerned with the nature of the church's ministry and the individual Christian' s relationship to that ministry. Students examine the biblical purposes of the church, especially as they relate to practical expressions of ministry: evangelism, nurture, worship, fellowship, and service. Guest speakers from a variety of ministry backgrounds challenge students to become involved in vocational ministry. The class studies ways to relate effectively to postmodern American culture. Students receive instruction in principles and methods of personal evangelism, and receive encouragement to put into practice what they have learned. Offered: yearly. Divino, staff
