This course is designed to increase students' proficiency in reading, translating and exegeting narrative Hebrew. Readings will be from selected books and portions of the Hebrew Bible. Meticulous preparation of chosen passages, with the aid of standard scholarly tools (lexicon, concordance, grammar, commentaries) is expected of all students.
